We strongly oppose to the amendment of land use on the site. Mon Sheong's plan to the public and their sales pitch is a low rise development for retirement. The proposed amendment is not a minor amendment but is a new phase much bigger than the original plan. As a committed buyer 2 years ago, the change will definitely affect our living conditions and environment. The 2 tall buildings are out of tune with the community. With an additional 700 units plus the original 300 or so units, the increased traffic will affect our retirement environment greatly. As a reputable developer in the past, Mon Sheong does not act like one this time as the lack of prior information makes us think that Mon Sheong did this to the original purchasers on purpose. Hope the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing will protect our consumer rights to turn down this proposal.
