In my opinion this proposed legislation change should not proceed. The beauty of the existing area will be forever changed with new housing. Wasaga Beach has plenty of real estate properties for building new homes. Some that have been started and some yet to come.
This will make the beach inaccessible to all as the homes will claim private access as it has already had in most of existing shoreline. This will not draw tourism. It will only send them elsewhere as the cost to enjoy the beach will skyrocket.
This is not Ontario Place. Please leave
Legislation as is and spend the Ontario taxpayers money elsewhere.
