This proposal helps the Federal & Provincial Governments plans to expedite development of needed affordable housing & has been proposed by the City of Burlington for 10 years. This situation requires the need for the Minister of Municipal Affairs to provide the MZO so that plans to demolish the existing buildings & deal with the contaminated site.

When development is proposed, there is usually a notice posted on the site, notifying any purchaser or tenant that occupants may have to be transported by bus to attend school.

In this case, a notice should be posted, identifying the existence of a CPR facility in close proximity so that any purchaser / tenant will realize that any complaints will not be considered..

This development will now cost substantially more because of the appeals & could have been built by now. This could have been part of dealing with the housing issue currently faced by the City of Hamilton.
