Hamilton needs affordable homes, and the proposed buildings on this site are a great opportunity to meet those needs. Allowing this type of development helps us stop expanding our urban boundary, which Hamilton voted against and will enable us to build within our urban area where infrastructure, public services and public transit already exist. Hamilton needs the approval of this development to meet the demand for affordable homes.
