The homelessness issue in Hamilton is dire. Rents and housing prices are extremely high which makes them unaffordable for many citizens. We also are in incredible need for supportive housing for those who live with substance abuse and mental health issues. Indwell and other organizations are ready to begin building the accommodation needed to assist those who need housing. Developing Jamesville appears to be part of the answer. This impasse has gone on for far too long.
