No changes should be made to the Provincial Parks and Conservation Reserves Act to turn the Wasaga Beach Provincial Park over to the local municipality. This land is ecologically significant. It is home to the endangered species the piping plover and serves as a protective barrier against flooding in the area. The Wasaga Beach Provincial Park must be protected.
