This proposal is intended to further commercialize public lands to enrich wealthy developers and impoverish further the people of Ontario.
In no world should the few accessible public lands be lost forever to development that diminishes the protections of those lands.
Haven’t we already damaged as much of the ecosystem services that humans depend on as we possibly can?
Protections on ALL lands should be increasing at this point to help stave off the effects of climate and ecosystem collapse.
One need only look south these days to see this ruinous policy play out to the destruction of our neighbours lands and finances.
Leave public lands alone! This regime running this province currently is unqualified to do so.
