Even though it is about 3% of the park, it is still 3%. Tourism isn't going to stop at Wasaga Beach because of how beautiful the town and beach are. Doing this, will. You've already demolished the boardwalk for a hotel to go in. TERRIBLE idea. The rich continue to get richer and you drive away the locals and surrounding area locals that enjoy coming here. If they want tourism up, then they need to have the shops and boardwalk. That's what helped local dollars STAY LOCAL. Now as per usual, government officials and their rich developers are lining their own pockets by allowing and making these things happen. You want to make a difference, put a stop to this nonsense. With everything going on with our neighbours to the South, we should be encouraging the small shops and local business to thrive. Instead, the rich don't care unless their pockets are lined with more cash, and forget about the locals. Yet again, our government is failing us. As they continue to do, while getting richer, and the locals continue to suffer. LEAVE WASAGA BEACH PROVINCIAL PARK ALONE!!
