Hi There,

I welcome this change and applaud Parks for the courage to make this amendment.
I have been spending summers and recreating in the Devils Glen area since my childhood. Specifically, rock climbing as a youth with my parents over the years.
These were formative years and experiences, kindling and shaping my love for the outdoors and protection of natural spaces. Climbing provided a unique opportunity to interact with the landscape and revel in wonder at the natural processes that shaped the landscape and the sensitive flora & fauna that inhabit it.

I experienced first hand the welcoming Climbing community and the way it helped city kids like myself establish a lifelong love and appreciation for the outdoors. Together with parks, the climbing user group can be a responsible steward and advocate for the sustainability of Devils Glen and all Climbing areas in Ontario.
