I strongly object to this Bill. Ontario already has plenty of land that is appropriately zoned for commercial or industrial purposes, or for new housing developments. It is an unnecessary and very dangerous precedent to induce potential employers or developers by offering to override crucially important protections in our environmental and planning legislation.
