I am very concerned about…

I am very concerned about any weakening of legislation protection for the Greenbelt. The government committed to protecting the Greenbelt during the election campaign and I expect them to follow through on this. Specifically, I call on the government to remove Schedule 10 from Bill 66, which allows municipalities to override provisions in the Greenbelt Act, Clean Water Act, Lake Simcoe Act, Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Act and Great Lakes Protection Act.
