I am immensely concerned with these proposed consolidation changes. This appears driven to remove “uncertainty and delays for builders”. There is no data that a change of this sort will result in better outcomes for the conservation areas and the environment. Removing expertise to centralize here includes risks to natural resources that could be irreparable in the future.
