The passing of Bill 5 and the proposed change to remove 106 species from protection will have devastating effects on the environment.
Without these protections, these species do not stand a chance and we inch closer and closer to a biodiversity collapse. These species have no voice, so I use mine. We cannot continue to view ourselves above nature, as we need it to survive as much as it needs us. Development is inevitable, but we do not need to bulldoze everything in our path to make it happen. Please keep these species protected, if not for them, for us.
