I am not in favor of weakening or reducing environmental protections or removing indigenous consultation. Scientific evidence, not political convenience, should be the guiding principle for decision making, particularly with respect to the list of protected species. Doug’s cronies can afford to do some honest work for their money; the rest of us appreciate, value, and need to coexist with nature for the foreseeable future.
