The watershed of each unique area is brought into question here. The proposed amalgamation makes no promise to increase the monitering of quality and protection of the innumerable, nuanced, and vulnerable locations that recharge watersheds for the prosperity of local populations. Amalgamation means hreater distance to cover, likely means less staff who know the areas [in question] intimately and who care too. In reasoning for this proposed change to existing conservation authorities, the Ford Gov't is clear that the problem they hope to address is permitting, and how differently (and unpredictably) each conservation authority operates in this regard. Ford has promised lots of development and his stake-holders find existing conservation authorities to be a nusance.
Consider the future, all who read this; companies like Nestle and Blue Triton want contracts for all the water your minicipalities are willing to sign over. What future does this bill stand for? For the good of the watersheds, please reconsider.

With sincereity,
