I live in Essex County…

I live in Essex County. surrounded by Lake St. Clair, the Detroit River and western Lake Erie. We have unique conditions and challenges. I cannot believe that a redrawn Conservation Authority, stretching from the Detroit River over 200 kilometers to past London, can adequately and effectively respond to our unique conditions. I am strongly opposed to the new boundaries of the proposed conservation areas.
I also question the motives for this proposal. The current provincial government is known to attempt to use currently protected lands for urban development.
