Hey!

This is silly. If anything we need more bike lanes. It makes biking safer and more pleasurable. Having more car lanes will only make there be more congestion and pollution. So many people I see driving cars and SUVs are alone, taking up so much space and energy when they could be taking transit. I understand workers and businesses that need vans to transport things are needed. But we need to make streetcars more efficient by not allowing cars to drive on the same roads (or something like that, I’m not a city planner) so that people can reliably use them to get around town and not rely on cars. More bike lanes will also help people consider biking a mode of transportation which would help with congestion. Personally it seems like whoever is wanting to make more car lanes is in the pocket of big oil and that’s pretty sad and pathetic …. Ya feel me? Like, whoever proposed this is either really really outta the loop and not consulting people who know what they are talking about or are corrupt. Probably both!
