This bill abuses renters while we are in the midst of a major housing and affordability crisis. This is disgusting and reason alone for it be stopped. Young people are struggling more than ever before and the Ford government intends to worsen this situation.
This bill is a massive over reach of provincial government into municipal affairs. Road and community design should be left to the municipality that pays for the roads and has local consultations.
There are problems in this province. Housing supply, affordability, and transportation all need improvements, but this bill will worsen all of these issues. We need to be densifying suburban cores, improving non-car transportation options, and helping young people get ahead.
