This proposition will not only be detrimental to local conservation, but actually so dangerous to public safety.
Conservation authorities manage waterways, and floodplains. By reducing their capacity (just to build houses where houses should NOT be built!!) is so short sighted.
Do we not remember what happened in the Rouge Valley? The flooding damage was catastrophic - we need protection and oversight. Not reduced capacity!!
