This move is akin to having one mayor and council, let'e say for all towns/cities in Grey County.
We know our area and issues and people. An important issue in our watershed might well become lost within a larger organization.
The general public will lose influence as to what happens in thir watershed.
One has to expect that it will be easier to override local concerns and to do the will of politicians at the provincial level who are financed and influenced by people out to make a buck.
