Amalgamating conservation boards across Ontario will be harmful to municipalities that are seeing degradation of lakes and rivers as well as the effects of increased congestion and loss of both agricultural and conservation lands.

Bill 68 will facilitate the aims of developers and the voices of residents will be silenced. The Conservation board of Niagara has made this region attractive and liveable.

The Niagara region has exceeded development.

Lake Simcoe is under threat from increased road salt and flood water run off. Locals need to be represented.

Ontario tourism has increased and our lakes are major attractions. It is short sited to pave over the hard work of individual conservation boards ti favour developers.
