I WILL NOT BE VOTING CONSERVATIVE AGAIN IF PROPOSALS LIKE THIS CONTINUE TO COME OUT!

This is a terrible proposal.

How do you expect to increase efficiency by adding another layer of bureaucracy (created from scratch I presume) that is potentially thousands of km away form the location with the issues? What is the point of the involvement of Ministry of Environment Conservation and Parks then?

Municipalities pay most of the operating cost of the CA's shouldn't they be more in charge? Where will the cost for this come from? CA's... so that would be an other added cost to municipalities.

Could you not use an organization like Conservation Ontario to facilitate standardization among CA's? Also standardization is not aways appropriate as different regions have different circumstances and challenges.

You should maybe talk to ALL the municipalities and CA to see what actually needs to be done and not just listen to lobbyists and developers.
