The current conservation authorities were set up around watersheds where which are extremely important to preserve biodiversity and protect our water that is so critical to Ontario. Amalgamating all of the conservation authorities into eight districts would be devastating to this ecosystem that protect this special region. I live on the southern shores of Lake Huron, a very special area of Canada that can provide food security for most of the country. The st Claire regional CA has been an indispensable resource for me as a land owner and farmer.
