As someone who lives and works in rural Hastings County I feel that a merger of Conservation Authorities may not work out as well as you might be hoping. We are going through a Public Health merger here and it has NOT lead to better services. Having a provincial authority and general website for applications and approvals etc sounds reasonable however the mergers are not something I would support at this time. Please reconsider.
