The plan would not allow the 7 authorities to approve building permits in accordance with the local natural restrictions, therefore putting that building and possible inhabitants at risk of serious harm during natural disasters. As well, this plan will likely create more backlogs in permit approvals because fewer people will have to review applications from the entire area which means more permits submitted.
