I completely agree with the decision of HCO to keep authority of the existing Conservation Areas as the management of those areas was very well attended.
A merger with other Ontario Conservation Areas will create chaos and confusion.
The people of Ontario should be entitled to choose which Conservation Authority they would like to visit and become members of and not to be forced to abide by a general Conservation Authority which could undermine the local authorities.
I am strongly opposed to the Ontario Conservation Authority amalgamation.
