I agree with HCA’s submission to the ERO. I am concerned about losing local decision-making and I support keeping conservation decisions rooted in our community. The system in place in the HCA area is working as it should. Combing it with other areas doesn’t improve the quality of what is being done, it dilutes it with people who don’t know the area as well making decisions.
