Having reviewed this proposal, I do not support merging the Conservation Authorities (CA). Each area is unique and requires local input on management. The Hamilton CA, my local CA and I have a yearly membership, does an excellent job in managing the resources it has. Halton CA, of which I also have a membership, does an excellent job in managing their lands. I believe we should continue the success of the CAs and keep them separate.
