I am NOT in support of this merger of the regional conservation authorities!

The Province has not provided evidence showing why the merger is needed.
Local decision-making will be harder to maintain.
There has been no funding plan made public to support the merger.
Grand River Conservation Authority already provides efficient, reliable service. We are used to this and support them financially.
Strong conservation depends on local relationships- making rediculously large CAs will make our voices weaker and means it will be more difficult to have local needs addressed.
