I agree with the Hamilton…

I agree with the Hamilton Conservation Area's submission to the ERO.
Decision making about local conservation areas needs to remain with the community making the financial contributions.
Local conservation area staff are also closer to the action. I believe Provincial oversight would reduce effective conservation area management.
Moving decision making to the province would also be more costly and reduce service to the public. The local community would also lose their voice in influencing decisions.
No to merging conservation areas.
