Background
Ecosystems are unique and specialized. Requiring specialized attention and focus. We don't want to maintain this current state of pollution and depletion. Regenerative actions, with more eyes observing, and weighing the consequences, at least for 7 years in advance. Plan longer, Weighing it all, for the health of future generations! Invest money in the direct ecosystems, and education for kids, to reconnect with nature. Instead of paperwork, offices, and new salaries.
Improving Conservation
The conservation already answers to the municipality, in which the government voice is already heard.
Provincial priorities should align with the ecosystem and people. Speeding a process up, that should truly be slowed down further. more heavily weighing actions, in consideration of the future generations 7years ahead, taking great care. Focus on edge effects especially in these heavily blessed areas of rivers, streams, creeks , ponds and wetlands. This will create and clean water. Build habitat for native plants and animals to thrive, and resources for Canada.
Regional Consolidation
The Consolidation Authorities act should be presented to the people before any action is taken at all. Especially as the conservation is doing a great job without any issues in their work. The people who have entrusted land and money to the over 80 year old establishment.
This new act takes fast action power out of the conservations hands. Reversing the order really.
Local people = Local focus.
The big picture for that community, those people.
Questions
The outline of a new act should be presented to the people in detail. This is how decisions are made well. Everything on the table to evaluate. I do feel the money would be better invested into direct planting, to clean our water, sink carbon, and education in regeneration. These other avenues help the people and ecosystem in that area. Not money in restructuring something that isn't corrupt or mismanaged.
