The Province should withdraw this proposal and commit to a meaningful public consultation process and to working with the Conservation Authorities on a sound plan for modernization.
I sit on the Board of the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority Board. I know that over 95 % of our permit applications get a final response within 19 days. This plan will not be able to match that.
Secondly we will loses local knowledge and input for planning, as a result decision making will be weakend.
