I don't agree with consolidation of the conservation authorities to such an extreme degree. If the provincial government wants to make changes consult with the conservation authorities and municipalities first. I and family and friends have had excellent dealings with our local conservation authority. They are the experts for this watershed and we can access services to assist us with restoring natural areas on our property. By consolidation it will be more difficult to get this assistance.
Leave the conservation authorities alone. If it's not broke don't try to fix it.
