A message from our youth stewards in Niagara Region who do not agree to the changing of Conservation Authority boundaries. Please see attached video link.
Please do not amalgamate our efficient NPCA who have spent decades creating community relationships and protecting our unique watershed. The new proposed RCA would span approximately 490,000 hectares across nearly two million residents and 28 municipalities. A smaller consolidated board risks losing diverse voices and weakens connections with local communities, partners, and long-standing watershed relationships built over 66 years.
