This feels like a “throw the baby out with the bath water” sort of proposal to me. A step closer to giving up on the environment for good at the hometown level. It feels like a negation of responsibility and a serious and detrimental step backward in a time when we need to be micromanaging our precious lands and watersheds not just for us but for all our flora and fauna and for our children and their children and onwards . I am disappointed and angry about this proposal and do not support it.
