Consolidating Ontario’s 36 conservation authorities into 7 regional authorities to be overseen by the new Ontario Provincial Conservation Agency WILL significantly impact how local watershed programs, services, and decision-making are delivered across my community.

The Province should carefully consider input from municipalities, landowners, conservation authorities, and community groups before any final decision is made.

Our rural communities deserve a voice, especially given the impact of water based climate emergencies that affect us all and the fact that we deserve representation for our tax dollars.

Please listen to us before making a decision which will have long standing implications for us all.
