As a cottager in Rideau…

As a cottager in Rideau Lakes, I am vehemently opposed to this change in the Conservation Authorities. We need the smaller entities to have better oversight on projects that impact our lakes and watersheds. To combine them will only water down their effectiveness, but I believe that this is ultimately the purpose of combining them. This bill shows that you are more concerned with wealth and power than in protecting the residents.
