Some things DO NOT need fast tracking . This sounds like another Greenbelt Ford Government policy change. No conservation areas are the same …and close management is required. Taking the precious metals out of the north is one thing, but controlling conservation lands that have
been well managed as well as provided decades of recreation for northern’s should be left to northerners care. The northern life and lands are very different from southern Ontario’s. Please consider cutting elsewhere, like waste spending at the top to save money. Conservation areas are important areas for wildlife, watersheds, recreation and healthy global environment .
