The formation of a provincial council overseeing the conservation authorities worries me because it sounds like it will just be used to rush the approval of building permits that otherwise wouldn’t have been approved by the CA. Conservation authorities are concerned with maintaining the environment and provincial meddling will not be in the best interest of the environment.
The conservation authorities should remain as they are and the province needs to let them protect our environment.
