We have been involved with our local conservation authority on several occasions getting advice on water run off management and tree planting. They have been prompt in responding to inquiries and made site visits to address our concerns. We are staunchly against the consolidation proposal as it will clearly reduce access to their staff and resources at the local level. We are all well aware that these amalgamations never result in cost savings or improved services. It is obvious that the reason is to speed up building permits by restricting local input and reducing environmental protection. As a lifelong conservative supporter, I am letting you know that if this proposal is implemented, I will NEVER vote for your party again,
