We live in eastern Ontario and are part of the Raisin river conservation authority. As a rural area our needs are much different from urban areas such as Ottawa’s. we need to keep local representation based on watersheds to address these needs.
Under the proposed consolidation of conservation authorities we would loose the local expertise needed for our area.
Please reconsider the proposal to change the local conservation authorities.
