Dear Mr. Ford;
I do not support the proposed amalgamations that would reduce Ontario's 36 Conservation Authorities to only 7 Conservation Authorities.
I have read the responses of the South Nation Conservation Authority and the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority. These responses show how seriously each of these authorities view their mandates. I implore you to listen to their views and consider the disruption that would ensue if you proceed with the changes you wish to bring upon them.
I fully support the preservation, management and maintenance of the unique ecosystems, biodiversity and geography of Ontario's watersheds at the local level.
