I am opposed to the proposal to consolidate Ontario's Conservation Authorities. Given changes in weather patterns driven by Climate Change, our Conservation Authorities should be strengthened and resources to enable them to both protect our watersheds and to maintain information on flood zones. Maintaining local knowledge is critical to the success of these efforts.

Weakening our Conservation Authorities in Ontario will result in much higher insurance, property losses and human suffering in future.
