I would have hoped that the conservative government would have learned something in the year 2000. From the Conservative Government led by Mike Harris a very bad, and devastating decision to cutback and privatize the water testing in Walkerton, Ontario. The thought of proposing to create the Ontario Provincial Conservation Agency and consolidate the 36 local Conservation Authorities into seven larger regional authorities shows that the Doug Ford led Conservative party hasn't learned a thing. Lives were lost in Walkerton by an incompetent PC government led by Mike Harris. I hope not to see that incompetence once again.
