The conservation authority…

The conservation authority has grown way too big and Too powerful. I understood they were to protect flood plains and special featured areas. However here in SNC area, they have been allowing the city of Ottawa to start building southward increasing the surface water being dumped onto and flooding private properties over 40 miles to reach The Ottawa river. Ottawa sites on the banks of the Ottawa river ?? In my opinion The conservation authority should be compensating These private land owners or buying some of the private lands as they become available and looking after said lands. To my disappointment SNC have been aquiring ag land on high ground no where near a flood plain next door to a high end subdivision for some reason, preventing future expansion of the small town. Like i mentioned earlier they have grown too big and way too powerfull and need a reset and full review of what their mandate is in this Province Thank You
