I question the purpose of Conservation Authority amalgamation. This unwise move will greatly increase the costs of permits and other fees associated with development. This move only adds further red tape and will take longer to issue permits.
I believe this to be a land grab disguised as better use of resources etc. You don't have the expertise or the data to make proper and sound decisions. So what resources are being shared??
This is another attempt at developing the Greenbelt and other restricted/ protected areas. This amalgamation needs to stop immediately.
