My concern for changing the present system is that the different parks and areas are very different in nature and purpose. One large governing body may not be able to keep the flavour of each park. Some are historical, some are horticultural, some are more tourist centered, and some are rugged natural areas best for hiking, canoeing and camping. Smaller governing bodies will be more precisely deal with the special nature of different parks. I hope it strays as it is.
