I oppose the consolidation of conservation authorities because sufficient information has not been provided as to the approach to consolidation. Consolidating multiple organizations is an expensive and time consuming process, from a people, policy and technology perspective. Until a clear approach, supported by cost estimates and funding source are provided, I agree with HCA’s submission to the ERO. I support keeping conservation decisions rooted in our community.
