I completely disagree with the proposed changes. This government has consistently chosen to sacrifice oversight and protection of water and land resources. I’m deeply disturbed by the government’s constant promotion of unchecked development that just results in regular taxpayers subsidizing municipal services for poorly thought out residential sprawl and ill-conceived development schemes. Consolidating services across larger and larger areas is always touted as “rationalization” and “cost saving” but just results in poorer public services that erodes public trust in our government institutions. Back off!
