The consolidation of conservation authorites sounds so appealing but the end result will be a disaster. The current provincial gov't has already significantly weakened the conservation authorites mandate. If saving money is the goal, there are better ways to accomplish that goal than the changes put forward. I fear these changes are just another way the current
provincial gov't will make it easier to gets it's hands on green belt land. This is a bad idea.
